Northern Kentucky University's Continuing Education (CE) unit was established in 2011 to offer a variety of non-credit courses for businesses, professional organizations and individuals.
Courses will be offered in a variety of formats, including:

Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
This course will develop the participant’s expertise in the Six Sigma methodology. At the end of the course, the participant will have earned the Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Participants will bring a real process challenge with associated data to the class for earning the Green Belt certification.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Preparation
Dr. Ihab Saad, chair of NKU’s Construction Management department will deliver the PMBOK 5.0 edition! Be prepared to take the new PMP exam!
Dr. Saad presents the extensive material to help the student not only understand the PMP principals, but understand the nuances of the PMI exam process.

- The Northern Kentucky Training Consortium (NKYTC) has just been awarded its 2nd grant to help companies provide the needed skill set to employees AND realize a 50% savings in training. The first reimbursement is being processed. Call KathyYelton at 859 392 2435 to see if your business can qualify to join the NKYTC.
- The March 29, 2013 session of the continuing Human/NKU HR Matters series addressed the topic of "Employer Trends in Health Management," earned each attendee 1.25 HRCI Strategic credit.
- Four people earned 35 PDUs for the week-long Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Prep Class taught by Dr. Ihab Saad. In addition, test questions were provided to prepare these students to take the PMP Exam.
